Founded in 2015 in Rouen in Normandy, the IES Business School is today a group of business schools offering more than 40 diplomas, BTS, Bachelors, Masters, BBA, DCG, MBA, and DBA.
IES Business School is present in several regions of France with 5 campuses to date:
- IES Normandie Rouen campus, founded in 2015
- IES Vendée campus of Sables d’Olonne founded in 2019
- IES Poitiers founded in 2023
- IES Perpignan founded in 2023
- IES Le Havre founded in 2024
The fundamental approach of the IES is to train the managers of tomorrow with human and responsible values. We work to develop skills because we are convinced that each student has tremendous potential which will allow them to work with passion and relevance in the service of their society and of Society.
The IES delivers recognized quality diplomas.
With more than 650 students, more than 200 employees, more than 400 partner companies, almost 2,000 alumni while the first IES campus was created in 2015, we are now a key player in the world of education superior.
But, beyond the figures, what characterizes the IES Business School? And above all, what differentiates the IES from other business and management schools?
IES, a local school
All schools have a regional vocation with a so-called territorial dimension, which allows us to work in partnership with communities and businesses, and to train future managers capable of evolving in the given territory, or of evolving independently. anywhere in the world. It also means participating in local events, challenges in Poitiers with communities, the WTA world women’s tennis tournament in Rouen, participation in the fight against breast cancer on all campuses, etc.
IES and quality diplomas
Our diplomas are either recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education or by the Ministry of Employment and Professional Training. Our training courses are accessible either through an initial course or through an apprenticeship. Students at IES, you will therefore obtain post-baccalaureate diplomas – BTS, Bachelors, DCG, Masters and a master’s degree (via Brest Business School) – from the Ministry of Higher Education or certified by the Ministry of Employment and Professional Training,
IES Business School, a real business school
- The IES Business School group has a Research laboratory and teacher-researchers who work there and give courses. Research articles published in international scientific journals make it possible to regularly increase the level of diplomas, including for former students.
- Thanks to the Brest Business School, a member of the Confédération des Grandes Ecoles (CGE), we offer in Rouen a Grande Ecole course including a double diploma, a classic RCNP master’s degree offered by the IES and a Grande Ecole Program. Brest Business School which is none other than a master’s degree. In Rouen, today, we are the only school to offer this master’s degree outside of Neoma, which puts us (but not only for this reason) in second position, including in terms of the number of students (school part of business).
IES and its international dimension
The IES Business School has a recognized international dimension. This differentiating factor allows us to offer students the opportunity to stay abroad, to set up gap years, internships abroad, and courses abroad.
But above all, we offer, in partnership with prestigious universities such as Wrexham University (Wales), Griffith College (Ireland), Northwood University (United States, Michigan), Bolton (England), BBAs, English-speaking MBAs, with courses in France and abroad.
The IES and the business world
The presence in our territories is important enough for us to have solid partnerships that are long-term and recurrent. This is the case for example in Rouen with its almost 10 years of existence and its 320 partner companies.
This is the case in Sables d’Olonne where local businesses know the school well. Everywhere, including on recent campuses, our schools are recognized in the business world and make it possible to find solutions for almost 95% of work-study applications.
The IES and its innovative pedagogy
What particularly differentiates the school is its innovative pedagogy which constantly evolves according to the development of the students.
- The classes are on a human scale
- Students have individualized support with a single tutor. They are also monitored by level managers and the entire teaching team.
- Teachers are recognized. They come from universities, major French business schools or are professional speakers, specialists in their field.
- Our teaching is based on two-part teaching, theoretical teaching allowing you to learn the concepts and the practical part, sharing of experiences, conferences, challenges, seminars, masterclasses and outings for better sharing in a professional environment.
- This teaching method is finally adapted to the needs of the students. On each floor of the building of the IES Normandie campus in Rouen, for example, you will find classrooms and rooms for group and/or individual work. Rest areas with beanbags, table football, etc. are available to students.
- Some courses are sometimes given in external professional environments: hotels, brasseries, cafes. This type of immersion strengthens group cohesion.
Since 2015, the new business schools setting up in Rouen have imitated the IES but the original always remains better than the copies.
IES and its orientation policy
The IES Business School makes it a point of honor to work with each student who wishes to do so on their orientation. This orientation is particularly present in the first two years through the discovery of the company but at each level, we listen to the students.
Consequently, you will find more than 40 diplomas for the group. Because our goal is simple: to ensure that students can find work in the field that interests them and which will excite them for a better professional life. We are not magicians but we provide as many tools as possible to enable them to flourish tomorrow in the world of work.
IES in an ideal location
Almost all schools are in the city center, which allows students to have quick and easy access to public transport and access to nearby shops and leisure facilities.
In Rouen, for example, the 3000 m2 building is located in the city center. It’s the same thing in Perpignan, Poitiers and Le Havre (university start in September 2024).
IES and human and responsible values
What will finally differentiate us are the values that we bring to our students, not by making them learn company codes by heart but by providing reflection on the basis of which they will be able to develop their abilities and become responsible managers. These reflections focus on respect, creativity, a sense of community, a sense of responsibility and excellence. All while incorporating the dimension of Corporate Social Responsibility, both with a social dimension and an environmental dimension. We are working on a label, we are raising awareness among employees and students and we are implementing ecological elements in our processes. Training managers and people is our vocation above all.
Welcome to IES Business School, we are here for our students, for their diplomas and to train them for the role of manager. They are human and responsible managers with a good general professional culture that we prepare throughout their studies. Because that is the very essence of the business school.
