We are a national provider of specialist support, evaluation, training, information and resources for those working to transform the lives of vulnerable children, individuals and families.
Interface was initially established in March 2010, by members of the former Families Delivery Team, Families at Risk Division at the Department for Education (DfE). We were successful in receiving a £2m grant from DfE (Families at Risk) that later moved to DCLG Troubled families’ team to support with this agenda.
We have been joined by associates with experience of implementing improvement programmes and providing training across local authorities (LAs), the voluntary and community sector, schools, early years, health and children’s social care. Together, we share a wealth of skills, knowledge, and experience around services for vulnerable families, change management, improvement support and evaluation.
Our overall aim is to enhance capacity and expertise in local areas and we do this across priority areas of service delivery for communities, children and vulnerable families.
Interface are unique in having experience of both the strategic design and implementation of projects and service improvements as well as direct experience at a local and practical level in supporting local authorities and partners. This experience develops measures and systems to meet strategic outcomes. One of the strengths of Interface is that associates have both management and operational experience which enables them to support partners effectively.
